Welcome to Reception
A huge welcome to Reception class! We are really looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few weeks! The children are settling in beautifully, making friends, learning new routines and having fun. During the half term we will begin our phonics sessions using the 'Floppy's phonics' programme.
During our maths sessions will begin to explore numbers to 5. We will be recognising numerals and learning the composition of numbers to 5. We will also begin the new RE curriculum and begin our journey with Jesus. All children will undertake the DFE Reception baseline before October. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask. Please keep up to date with all our news and updates via tapestry.
PE will take place on Tuesday's. Library day is a Friday, books cannot be changed until they are returned. Please do come see us if you have any questions, problems or queries. Mrs Partridge and the Reception team.
